New year – “refresh” personal brand
Everyone has new year's goals to try to achieve. Is your personal brand strong enough to prove your determination? Take a look back to make this one of the best tools you can equip your career with.
What is a personal brand?
Your personal brand shows how the world sees you. Some people who succeed in building a personal brand are also called “well-known in the profession” or the “face” of the organization, brand, brand… But that doesn't mean that new graduates or mid-range employees can't build their own brands.
Has your personal brand shown the right “face”?
Personal brand is a combination of strengths, skills and unique qualities that you bring to your job. And this is extremely important when you look for a job. Today, employers want to know more about the candidate, not just the level of education, the process of work and technical skills. They are also interested in talent and abilities — unique qualities that set you apart from other candidates. So you have to know how to market to yourself.
This is the most important product in your career: your reputation. And this should be fully expressed throughout the process of customer – employer contact: from CVS, social networks to interviews.
Personal brand identification steps
1. Make a list of tasks, roles that have taken over. Evaluate the positions in which you did the best, write down the most noticeable skills in the process of working there.
2. Write down the best descriptive words about you. If you're having trouble, try asking colleagues who are already with you: bosses, former colleagues, and current colleagues.
3. Rediscover achievements you've ever been credited with: sales rewards, outstanding employees, positive members…
4. Combine all the lists, look back overview and team into the main activities of the career. The goal is to find the most prominent information that demonstrates your strengths. That's the backbone for the personal brand.
5. Define your job goals: what is the next step in your career? Do you want a higher position or a complete change of profession?… Assess whether the content found supports that goal?
6. Look again at the list of experiences: distinguish between what makes you like best in each position and what you desire now. What role do you most shine in and why? Do you want to be known for the same role for the next 5 years? Consider what you want to be best known as a professional worker.

Personal brand updates
1. Check your online presence
Who are you in Google's search engine bar? How many references to your name? Does your CV appear on the first page? Otherwise, most likely your name on social media accounts, the website is not written exactly as the name on the CV.
On the first results page about you, is there anything wrong with you? If so, remember not to click that link several times, as well as avoid sharing it anywhere so as not to push this link to the top of the search list.
2. Create more online content about your name
– First of all, go to the personal account on ViralHire, select ViralHire profile – update the information, achievements , experience-select new features Share profile.
– Share QR code or link address on career websites, popular social networks: LinkedIn, Facebook, personal Fanpage, Twitter, Behance, Youtube… these updated “legitimate” content can ease unwanted results to the following pages on Google search engine.
